The dawn of the morning of 13th December, 2021 marked a memorable day of one of the premier medical institution, Tagore Medical College and Hospital being the third graduation day for MBBS students of 2013 and 14 batches. It was a proud moment of our college to announce the passed out students through the portals of our institution well equipped to deal with clinical care and to serve the country.
The graduation ceremony commenced at 10 am with Academic procession followed by invocation followed by lightening of the lamp The Chief guest was welcomed by the Chairperson and she declared the opening of ceremony, which was followed with the submission of annual report by the DEAN.
The Chief Guest on her presidential address, congratulated the graduands and said, “Service to mankind, is service to god” and praising the management for the best of the infrastructure and the facilities provided in the college .she asked them to gain more clinical knowledge before embarking on professional journey.
The graduands were honoured by the Dignitaries with certificates and medals.
A total of 45 Medals were given, which includes the University topper and individual department medals of which 21 were awarded to the graduands of 2013 and 24 medals were awarded to the graduands of 2014.
The best outgoing student of 2013 & 2014 was given to Dr V.Kowshalya & Dr. NS Soundarya respectively,
Dr. NS Soundarya was also awarded with special medal for receiving the prestigious Dr. S GNANA DESIKAN & Dr. S SUBRAMAIAN GOLD MEDAL for securing highest mark in Microbiology in the second year university Examination conducted by Tamilnadu DR MGR MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Administration of Oath was done by Prof. Dr.Karunanithi .R ,Medical Superintendent.
The function ended with vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Gopalan DH, HOD,Anatomy
The students along with their parents and relatives presented in great numbers and enthusiasm. The area was brimming with anticipation and happiness. The college wore a festive look.
Graduation day concluded with National Anthem.
