Department of Radio-Diagnosis

Our Radio-Diagnostic imaging has many divisions as follows and has been doing varieties of tests for the out patients and in patients and is being staffed by senior well qualified faculties with vast experience in this field of Imaging.

  • Plain digital X-ray studies
  • Special contrast X-ray investigations
  • Fluoroscopy screening studies
  • Ultrasonography studies
  • Color Doppler imaging studies
  • Antenatal Ultrasonography studies
  • Adult Echocardiography studies
  • Fetal Echocardiography studies
  • Computer tomography studies ( CT SCAN)
  • Mammography studies
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging studies (MRI SCAN)
  • Interventional Radiology procedures – (USG & CT guided biopsies etc)

Within each of the above divisions, there are multiple X-ray views, different imaging protocols as mentioned in each section.
For some of the investigations, it is preferred to come with prior appointment and adequate preparations and for other investigation; it will be a walk in process only.

It is advised generally that all women in the reproductive age group should undergo the radiological investigations in the first 10 days of their menstrual cycle only except Ultrasonography, echocardiography and MRI tests but for the life saving occasions.

We have a round the clock service facility for the X-ray and CT scan to cater to the emergency cases handled by our casualty and Hospital in patients.
Our imaging studies output is fully digitized and we use laser sensitive imaging technology as per the international protocol standards.

We also constantly strive to upgrade our facilities and standards in improving our turnaround times and thereby facilitating earlier diagnosis and treatment for a faster recovery.

Our able team of Diagnosticians is always available for the active interactions and guidance for anyone who wants to utilize their knowledge and international exposure.

To add to the crown of our performance standards, we boost our institutional status by being one of the most appreciated department by all the visiting faculties for our departmental standardized transparent protocols, computational statistics and harmonious functioning.
