Department

Women deserve dignity, respect and compassion when it comes to health care. We, the Department of OBG – pride itself on the high quality patient care in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology. It strives to incorporate excellent clinical services and well planned academic activities.

Our department provides regular antenatal care, focused care for high risk Pregnancies, Family welfare services, infertility care and cancer screening services. We also take care of adolescent health and Menopausal health. Endocrine diseases relevant to Gynaecology are also managed here. Dedicated in-patient Services are available for the admitted patients.

We are equipped to manage all Obstetrics and Gynecology emergencies round the clock. We have the state of the art Labour Ward, Operation Theatre, Post-Operative ward, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Intensive Care Unit facilities with dynamic faculties and well trained staffs.

Our educational activities include teaching the under graduate medical students during their clinical rotation in MBBS. We conduct regular CMEs, workshops, journal clubs and Vertical integration classes to improve the current knowledge in the field of medicine.
