Chairperson & Managing Trustee,
Tagore group of Institutions.
“Education is the manifestation of already existing perfection in man” said Swami Vivekananda. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” said Nobel Prize winner Nelson Mandela. Tagore Educational Trust and its group of institutions was started with this exemplary vision of “Quality Education to all”. We believe that education is not preparation for life, but life itself.
A sudden surge in the field of engineering & technology and huge demand for engineering graduates prompted the group to start Jerusalem College of Engineering in the year 1995, at a strategically located campus at Pallikkarani, Chennai. A pioneering institution, the first of its kind to have received NACC & NBA accreditation.
The next major venture of the Tagore Educational Trust was Tagore Engineering College, at Rathinamangalam. The college has recently been reaccredited with “A” grade by NACC. With its major venture in the year 1998, Tagore group forayed itself into the world of school education, with Hilton Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chromepet. The School has established itself as one of the top ranked schools in the southern suburbs of Chennai, carving a niche in providing quality and wholesome education to the young minds of India.
[/wc_column][/wc_row]
Having ventured successfully in the field of School education & Engineering education, Tagore group had focused its attention towards Medical education. In the year 2007 it had started Tagore Dental College & Hospital and in the year 2010 Tagore Medical College & Hospital. In the year 2017 Tagore College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences College had started. Tagore college of Physiotherapy & Tagore College of Pharmacy were started in the academic year 2019
I welcome the students who have chosen Tagore College of Physiotherapy on board of professional development and wish them all success and ask everyone to comply with the laws and regulations governing the physiotherapy practice. As per World Health Organization’s (WHO) statistics, there is a huge demand of qualified physiotherapists to treat different clinical conditions of patients and to make qualitative research in the field of physiotherapy. Acquire high professional knowledge and contribute to the planning and development of services which address the health needs of the community.
Tagore group of institutions nurtures discipline of its students in all aspects which transforms them into able, accountable and responsible citizens. Apart from imparting knowledge, we focus on character enhancement, inculcate ethical values and professional standards. We believe in academic excellence, quality education for all class of people and produce equal opportunity to all, which will ultimately help in the development of our country.
