      1. Introduction and Signs & Symptoms of Typhoid Fever by Dr. hemita joeline<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Caused by the bacteria salmonella typhi<\/li>\n
      • Spread by feaco oral route<\/li>\n
      • Signs and symptoms:fever(step ladder), vomiting, diarrhea,abdominal pain, headache, nausea, rose spots, constipations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        2. Prevention and Control of Typhoid Fever by Dr. Harshini Vanan<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Drinking bottled water, boiled water.<\/li>\n
        • avoid street foods.<\/li>\n
        • Demonstration of hand washing techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          3. Introduction and Signs & Symtpoms of Dengue Fever by Dr. Joyce Magdalene<\/strong><\/p>\n

          • Caused by flavivirus<\/li>\n
          • Spread by aedes mosquitoes<\/li>\n
          • Sign and symptoms: <\/strong>sudden raise in temperature, myalgia, joint pain, headache, petechiae, vomiting and pain during eye movement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            4. Prevention and Control of Dengue by Dr. Josthna Preetha<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Explain about breeding sites (bamboo sticks, waste plastic containers & bottles, water stagnant in coconut shell, leaking tap water)<\/li>\n
            • Prevention:<\/strong> mosquito repellants & coils, odomos creams, mosquito nets. <\/li>\n
            • Importance about papaya juice and nilavembu kashayam. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
