World COPD day is celebrated every year on November 16.<\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n

World COPD day was set up to raise awareness for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and improve care for sufferers all over the world. It is the 5th<\/sup> cause of death and will rank 3rd<\/sup> by 2030 according to WHO .<\/p>\n

It is the most common chronic disease 3rd<\/sup> to cardiovascular diseases, cancer and before diabetes in terms of prevalence, incidence and mortality. <\/p>\n

\u201cBreathe in the knowledge\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme emphasizes the meaningful actions patients can take to improve their respiratory health at any stage before or after a diagnosis of COPD.<\/p>\n
