The Tagore College of Nursing was established by the Tagore Educational Trust under the Parent Hospital \u2013 Tagore Medical College & Hospital in the year 2017 September.<\/p>\n

\t\tThe Tagore College of Nursing has received the Essentiality Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Government \u2013 Health and Family Welfare Department G.O.(Ms).No.282, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi College Code : 2903228, recognized by the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai and affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical Univeristy, Chennai College Code :679 for starting B.Sc Nursing Degree Course with an annual intake of 100 Students from the Academic year 2017-2018.<\/p>\n

Tagore Educational Trust was formed in 1997 by the chairperson Professor M.Mala.,M.A.,M.Phil.,an Educationist and Philanthropist. The Trust is pledged to the noble task of offering state of the art higher education in the field of Medicine, Engineering and Humanities.     It was the vision from The Lord Ganesh to uplift the socially, economically and educationally challenged people in general and youth in particular. That vision became my mission to “liberate people from ignorance”. The only way to achieve this is through education.<\/p>\n

    Prof M Mala is a dynamic, cheerful and hard working person. In recognition of her services, she was honoured with the \u201cBest Women Edupreneur 2015<\/strong> award by ICT Academy of Tamilnadu on 21.03.2015 and \u201cAsia\u2019s Greatest Leader 2018\u201d<\/strong> award and Asia\u2019s Greatest Brands and Leaders on 21.01.2019.<\/p>\n

    \u201c Education is th emanifestation of already existing perfection in man\u201d said Swami Venekananda. \u201cEducation is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world\u201d said Nobal Prize winner Nelson Mandela. Tagore group of institutions was started with this exemplary vision of \u201cQuality Education to all\u201d. We belive that education is not preperation for life itself.<\/p>\n

    A sudden surge in the field of engineering & technology and huge demand for engineering graduates prompted the group to start Jerusalem College of Engineering in the year 1995, at a strategically located campus at Pallikkarani, Chennai. Apart from the apparent benefit of being very easily accessible to the city through trains and buses, Jerusalem College of Engineering, with its qualified and experienced faculty has created a name equivalent to none for itself in the field of engineering education. A poineering institution, the first of tis kind to have received NAAC & NBA accrediatation, the college belives in a holistic approach to teaching and learning process.<\/p>\n

    The next major venture of the Tagore group was Tagore Engineering College, Rathinamangalam. A huge sprawling campus and excellent infrastructure and the hallmarks of Tagore Engineering College. With experienced and well qualified faculty members, the college has been growing leaps and bounds in a relatively short span of time. The college has recently been reaccrediated with \u201cA\u201d grade by NAAC. Jerusalem College of Engineering and Tagore Engineering College are like to twin horses that draw the same chariot.<\/p>\n

    With its majot venture in the year 1998, The group forayed itself into the world of school education, with Hilton Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chrompet. The school has established itself as one of the top ranked schools in the southern suburbs of Chennai, carving a niche in providing quality and wholesome education to the young minds of india.<\/p>\n

    In furtherance to the commitment and conviction of Tagore group in Nation building & Quality Education to all, Tagore Arts and Science College & Tagore Dental College were established.<\/p>\n

    Having ventured sucessfully in the field of School education & Engineering education, 2010 can be marked as a major milestone in the success story of Tagore group, with the starting of Tagore Medical College & Hospital , Tagore College of Nursing and Tagore Institute of Allied Health Sciences.<\/p>\n

    Tagore group of institutions belives in the descipline of students so that they can be moulded into responsible and humane citizens.
