        1. A brief introduction about MR vaccine and Special campaign about MR vaccination\u2013 Dr. HemitaJoeline<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Measles and Rubella are contagious disease<\/li>\n
        • Measles leads to complications like pneumonia & diarrhea <\/li>\n
        • Rubella causes Congenital Rubella Syndrome in pregnant women.<\/li>\n
        • Special campaign which is going to held on February 2017 1st<\/sup> wk \u2013 schools, 2nd<\/sup> & 3rd<\/sup> wk \u2013 Anganwadi , Outreach centre, Health centres, 4th<\/sup> wk \u2013 missed areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          2. About Congenital Rubella Syndrome, age group for vaccination and its safety – Dr. Jayashree. S<\/strong>S<\/p>\n

            \n
          • CRS: <\/strong>Affects pregnant women and causes blindness, mental retardation, liver disorders, deafness and cardiac disorders.<\/li>\n
          • Age:<\/strong> 9months to 15 years.<\/li>\n
          • No adverse effects<\/li>\n
          • Contraindications: <\/strong>children with high fever, h\/o allergy of rubella vaccination in the past.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
