Defects at birth, Deficiencies, Diseases, Development delays including disability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Participants : <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>CRRI\u2019S : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DR. GOWTHAM<\/li>\n<li>DR. J. JAI INDIA DEVI<\/li>\n<li>DR. HEMITA JOELINE<\/li>\n<li>DR. HARSHINI VAANAN <\/li>\n<li>DR. JAYKUMAR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Co-ordinators : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DR. JACQULINE- MEDICAL OFFICER<\/li>\n<li> MRS. Chandra (PHN, UHTC, Chromepet)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Target Population : <\/strong><\/p>\n<p> Students of PALLAVAPURAM GOVERNMENT HIGH SCHOOL 10<sup>TH<\/sup> &#038; 12<sup>th<\/sup> STD (300 students were examined )<\/p>\n<p>[\/wc_column][wc_column size=&#8221;one-half&#8221; position=&#8221;last&#8221;]<br \/>\n<strong>Events : <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NLEP \u2013 Leprosy Update <\/li>\n<li>International yoga day <\/li>\n<li>Organ donation day  &#8211;  RHTC<\/li>\n<li>Disabled persons &#8211; UHC<\/li>\n<li>Word Aids day  &#8211;  at RHTC<\/li>\n<li>World breast feeding awareness week  &#8211;  RHTC <\/li>\n<li>School health camp at RHTC and UHC<\/li>\n<li>Family Health survey  &#8211; RHTC and UHC <\/li>\n<li>General health checkup.<\/li>\n<li>Height and Weight were recorded for assessing malnutrition <\/li>\n<li>Early detection and intervention of malnutrition- ROAD TO HEALTH <\/li>\n<li>Screening for nutritional deficiencies like \u2013 Anaemia, vitamin A deficiency, PEM<\/li>\n<li>Eye Examination, ENT Examination,<\/li>\n<li>Screening for cardio vascular and respiratory problems<\/li>\n<li>Skin lesions, Dental caries, Respiratory tract infections, children were identified and prescribed drugs.<\/li>\n<li>Children with Dental caries, Ear discharge and severe tonsillitis were referred to UHTC\/ TMCH for further management.       <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><center>[metaslider id=2446]<\/center><br \/>\n[\/wc_column][\/wc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) is an important initiative aiming at early identification and early intervention for children from birth to 18 years to cover 4 \u2018D\u2019s viz.
